Sunday Mornings
1st B Kids is ready to serve all kids who come to any of the three services on Sunday morning from the ages of 8 weeks through 5th grade. All rooms throughout the children’s wing (excluding 4th and 5th grade) are named after animals and are commonly referred to as their animal name.

8:30am Service:
We have 2 classrooms going during this service not including the nursery that is open during every service. K-5th grade and preschool. Kids will get lots of 1-on-1 attention as they learn Bible stories, sing songs, and participate in crafts. The K-5th class also spends extra time on learning and reviewing the books of the Bible and their major themes.
10:00am Service:
Preschool: This is the hour with the most kids but we have things set up for preschool kids (2yr-4yr old) to keep things small. For most ages we have two classrooms for every age. We do this to ensure the attention and safety that your children need. Starting at age two kids will learn a story from God’s word, sing songs, participate in crafts, and play with age appropriate toys.
K-1: We have two kindergarten classes and a first grade class that make up this department. The K-1 crew spends some time every week as a combined group for worship, object lessons, memory verse, skits and more. Kids will then lean Bible Lessons in their separate classroom that focus on Bible stories and characters as well as touch on biblical principles and applications. We also begin introducing kid small groups to this age group in a limited role.
2nd-3rd Grade :: Sunday Safari: We have one classroom for each grade but combined they are called Safari Sunday. Both grades are combined for a large chunk of the morning to play games, worship, object lessons, and skits. Kids are taught Bible lessons in their separate rooms that focus on Bible stories and characters but moves deeper into teaching biblical principles. Safari Sunday also puts a great deal of emphasis on consistent small groups that focus on the applying God’s word to our lives.
4th-5th Grade :: The Treehouse: This group meets on the 3rd floor in the room that is simply known as the treehouse. Mornings are filled with action packed games and activities, worship, Bible lessons that are specifically designed for the daily lives of preteens, and consistent small groups for life application and friendships. 4th and 5th graders also have opportunities to serve, invite their friends to outreach special events, and participate in a weekend retreat.
K-1: We have two kindergarten classes and a first grade class that make up this department. 11:30 Service:
This intermediate size kid service could be just the fit for you and your family. We have several of our classrooms open that include two preschool classes, K-1 class, 2nd -3rd class, and 4th and 5th class. In this hour kids get to participate in Bible lessons, singing, and crafts
Kid Life
Wednesday 6:30-8:30pm
Kid Life is a ministry of 1st B Kids that is committed and built around Kid Small Groups. This primary focus of small groups begins, in a simple way, for kids in kindergarten and expands as kids grow older. Kid Life’s second main focus is to help kids learn how to feed themselves through their individual time with the Lord. Kids have time each week, on top of small group time, to do bible journaling (2nd grade and up), memorize scripture (AWANA), and to read children’s Bible stories (K-1). All of these activities have fun little goals to help inspire them and is based on progression. Kids are strongly encouraged to journal and memorize verses with their parents at home. All home activity counts the same amount toward their goals. Kid Life is also a blast. Each week is filled with games, activities, and for some, store time.
