2 Corinthians 6:2  “For God says, ‘At just the right time, I heard you.  On the day of salvation, I helped you.’  Indeed, God is ready to help you right now.  Today is the day of salvation.”

God is ready.  At any given moment, God is prepared and ready to provide help.  I just need to ask for Him to intervene.  This verse talks specifically about God’s readiness to provide salvation help and His willingness to save the person who realizes his/her need for a Savior.  But for me personally it was a great reminder that God is a helping God in all things.  I am encouraged that His timing is perfect, I am overwhelmed by His willingness, and I am motivated to look to Him today for the help and strength that I need.

Lord thank you that today is the day of salvation and please remind me of your saving love and grace.  Help me Lord to serve you today with a salvation mindset and because you have saved me I am serving you and please help me to rely on your power and ability.
